We can do much better...

Tell us what you need ( full computer, mouse, keyboard, monitor speakers, OS etc), what you are going to be doing with this computer ( what games, any photo shop or video editing etc, your max budget and where you would like to buy your components from.

ill be gaming FF14, FF11, skyrim, minecraft, GTA 5, Bioshock infinite. posable light game modding if i ever put time into learning. all i need is the case, OS, and parts i have the rest as keyboard, mouse, monitor and such but i cant go over $850 i would prefer newegg but not needed

My suggestion... I did put a case in there but I think cases are personal preferences anyway, so all in all, it leaves you with ~$50 for a ATX mid case.
Take the case out of this build and use the cash to get a bigger HDD. Otherwise, agreed.

Also, part pricing and availability changes by the day. If you don't have the cash now you'll need to make another thread when you do.

These prices pretty much change daily, so that first build I did is already not as cost effective as before.

I highly suggest for the little bit of extra money to stick with a Haswell Intel CPU.
The RAM can be pretty much anything, I only suggest that it remain DDR3-1600 (PC3-12800). The SeaSonic PSU would be the best choice, but if you want the Corsair one at least go with the CX600 version. Everything else is good.
