if i have your budget i would use the full potential of the 4870x2 and grab a 24" hd monitor, this one should be good for your rig.

OK, well im seriously considering gettin a 24inch Acer with 1900-1200 Resolution now.

And if i was to run a 1900 reso, would i still be able to max out graphics with that GPU?

With the exception of the GPU and screen issue. Is there anything else with this rig that you might of changed? Brand wise or part wise?
