I need some suggestions and critiques. Also, it'll be appreciated if someone could give me a suggestion on a good sink fan, I'll be OCing. Total comes out to be about $1000.00

It's my first build in a while and I only have a budget about ~$1,200. 00

Looks very good, great processor and everything else really.

How come you havent picked a better Graphics card to match the great processor? if your a gamer id go for at least a 7900 or better

Nice picks on the components. If you can try and fit in a 7900 series graphic card like jonny said. And also get one stick of 1gb instead of 2x512mb, so you can upgrade later to 2gb, when you have the money.

u can upgrade to 2 gb(1gb X 2) and still be on budget, and go with the ds3 mobo, its the best!! ABIT SUCKS ABIT SUCKS

1. I always thought ABIT made good boards, I could be wrong. But if everyone is leaning toward the DS3 board, then I'll take the advice and change that to the Gigabyte board. But can someone give me a reasonable explanation as to why?

2. Even though I'm going to be gaming, I don't think I really need 2GB of RAM. However, yea, I think I'll switch to the 1G stick just in case I want to add in the future.

3. As for the video card, the 7900 series are all above $200, is the gained extra performance from a 7900 series really worth another $100 dollars? I'm a little hesitant to pay so much for a video card.

4. Can anyone recommend a good sink fan? I'm going to OCing and want to keep the temp levels reasonable.
