Hello, my name is Ben and I am 15, and this is my first ever PC build. It is $1600 shipped from newegg, and is a complete build. As in Computer, Moniter, Mouse, Keyboard, Mouse Pad, Gaming Headset, etc. etc. I want to know what you guys think and what suggestions you have. So with that, here goes-

1. Case
COOLER MASTER HAF 932 Blue ATX Full Tower
Newegg.com - COOLER MASTER HAF 932 Blue RC-932-KKN3-GP Black Steel ATX Full Tower Computer Case
Reasons for buying include the fact that it looks AWESOME, has a ton of airflow, and is what I consider to be future-proof.

2. Surge Protector
CyberPower 1090 6 Feet 4 Transformer Spaced 6 Non-Transformer Spaced Outlets 3000 Joules Surge Protector
Newegg.com - CyberPower 1090 6 Feet 4 Transformer Spaced
6 Non-Transformer Spaced Outlets 3000 Joules Surge Protector

3. Motherboard
MSI 790X-G45 AM3 AMD 790X ATX AMD Motherboard
Newegg.com - MSI 790X-G45 AM3 AMD 790X ATX AMD Motherboard
I like the $100 price tag, 2 PCI-E 16x slots, and the many "little features" that MSI throws in. This is a part I am not so sure on, as I don't believe it is very future-proof and is limited in RAM speed, etc.

4. Video Card
PowerColor PCS+ AX5850 1GBD5-PPDHG2 Radeon HD 5850 (Cypress Pro) 1GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFireX Ready
Newegg.com - PowerColor PCS+ AX5850 1GBD5-PPDHG2 Radeon HD 5850 (Cypress Pro) 1GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFireX Support Video Card
It has DirectX 11, 1 gig onboard, a factory overclock (that I would add to, and a pretty efficient cooling system. I would plan to later add another for CF.

5. Power Supply
RAIDMAX HYBRID 2 RX-730SS 730W ATX12V V2.2/ EPS12V SLI Ready CrossFire Ready Modular Modular LED Power Supply
Newegg.com - RAIDMAX HYBRID 2 RX-730SS 730W ATX12V V2.2/ EPS12V SLI Ready CrossFire Ready Modular Modular LED Power Supply
Not so sure as it is kind of off-brand, but all the reviews look good and....... it has blue LED's :). It is also modular, $70, and should support the whole system easily. Another part I could use some advice on.

6.Processor
AMD Phenom II X2 555 Black Edition Callisto 3.2GHz Socket AM3 80W Dual-Core Desktop Processor - C3 Revision
Newegg.com - AMD Phenom II X2 555 Black Edition Callisto 3.2GHz 2 x 512KB L2 Cache 6MB L3 Cache Socket AM3 80W Dual-Core Desktop Processor - C3 Revision HDZ555WFGMBOX
Yes, I know it's a dual-core. BUT it is the fastest dual available, only $100, has a good chance of unlocking one or two extra cores, and can be OCed to well over 4 Gigs (I have seen a stable 4.7). Basically it is a 3.6-4.2 Ghz 4-core that has 8 total MB of cache, at only 100 bucks. Plus it uses the AM3 socket, can you say future-proof???

7. RAM
G.SKILL 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333 (PC3 10600) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory Model
Newegg.com - G.SKILL 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333 (PC3 10600) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory Model F3-10600CL9D-4GBNT
The motherboard has a Max. RAM speed of 1600, which this should be able to OC to. It is like 80 bucks, is DDR3, and is G Skill. Pretty sure on this one, but all suggestions are welcome and greatly appriaciated.

8. Hard Drive
Seagate Barracuda 7200.12 1TB 7200 RPM SATA 3.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive -Bare Drive
Newegg.com - Seagate Barracuda 7200.12 ST31000528AS 1TB 7200 RPM 32MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive -Bare Drive
It's a 75 dollar, terabyte, 7200 RPM, silent HD. I am also confident on this part.

9. Keyboard
steelseries Merc Stealth Black USB Wired Ergonomic Gaming Keyboard
Newegg.com - steelseries Merc Stealth Black USB Wired Ergonomic Gaming Keyboard
Looks like a worthy investment. What do you guys think?

10. Moniter
Acer V233HAJbd Black 23" 5ms Widescreen LCD Monitor
Newegg.com - Acer V233HAJbd Black 23" 5ms Widescreen LCD Monitor 300 cd/m2 ACM 80000:1(1000:1)
The cheapest 5ms refresh 23" Widescreen I could find :D

11. Mouse
GIGABYTE GM-M6880 Metal Black USB Wired Laser Gaming Mouse
Newegg.com - GIGABYTE GM-M6880 Metal Black USB Wired Laser 1600 dpi Gaming Mouse
Looks like a good bang for your buck mouse...

12. Headset
steelseries 5H V2 3.5mm Circumaural Professional Gaming Headset
Newegg.com - steelseries 5H V2 3.5mm Circumaural Professional Gaming Headset
The cheapest, quality one I could find. I think...

13. Mouse Pad
steelseries QcK Mass Mouse Pad
Newegg.com - steelseries QcK Mass Mouse Pad
I quality gaming mouse pad...

14. Optical Drive
ASUS Black Blu-ray Drive SATA Model BR-04B2T - OEM
Newegg.com - ASUS Black 4X BD-ROM 8X DVD-ROM 32X CD-ROM SATA Internal Blu-ray Drive Model BR-04B2T - Blu-Ray Drives
NOT SURE AT ALL ON THIS ONE! I want something that can Read and Write/Burn DVD's and read Blu-Rays. I believe this one only reads DVD's and BR.

15. Operating System
Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit 1-Pack for System Builders - OEM
I just know that Windows 7 is the best, and am not quite sure on the versions, but I think I hvae it right.

16. Thermal Compound and Cleaner
Arctic Silver 5 Thermal Compound - OEM
Newegg.com - Arctic Silver 5 Thermal Compound - Thermal Compound / Grease
Arctic Silver ACN-60ML (2-PC-SET) Thermal material Remover & Surface Purifier - OEM
Newegg.com - Arctic Silver ACN-60ML (2-PC-SET) Thermal material Remover & Surface Purifier - Thermal Compound / Grease

17. CPU Cooling
XIGMATEK AIO-S80DP All-in-one liquid cooling system
Newegg.com - XIGMATEK AIO-S80DP All-in-one liquid cooling system
As far as I know, it is the best cooling you can get for your dollar (that is still able to OC well). Mixed reviews, not quite sure... but I think the 932's massive airflow capabilities should do the trick. It looks cool too :)

18. Speakers
Logitech S-220 17 Watts 2.1 Multimedia Speaker System - OEM
Newegg.com - Logitech S-220 17 Watts 2.1 Multimedia Speaker System - Speakers
Just some "good bang for 25 bucks" speakers.

At this, the system is $1600 shipped. I would plan on going to Crossfire and adding a SSD later. The GPU also comes with COD 6. So thanks for listening to me, please leave a comment, and..... have a spectacular day :D

Thanks again,
Ben
