If you're going to get a Seagate hd, I'd suggest one with perpendicular recording and a 16mb cache. It'll be faster. If you do, the 320gb one has the best price/capacity ratio I believe. I personally would get a Fortron 450w psu over that, but that one might be ok. Everything else looks good except get some DDR2-800 ram instead of 667 since you want to OC.

*edit*
AW9D-MAX is supposedly a good 975x board...but you're getting an e6400, so I'd say stick with the p965 chipset. Also, that vid card isn't great but it's good for the price. I'm guessing either you're not a big gamer or you're just wanting something to hold you over till dx10's drop in price?

Thanks for the advice, ill look into that motherboard. What's perpendicular recording though? I saw that but wasnt sure about what it was for.

And yes, im not a huge computer gamer... i mostly stick to my xbox, but i'd like something decent that i could game on a little. And yes, i dont really want to spend a ton of money on a card right now. What would you suggest? I'll want to be able to play battlefield2 and flight simulator with it.

7600gt would probably be a good card for you. BF2 should run fine unless you crank up AA/AF/resolution. FSX, you will have to sacrifice some settings but it's so demanding that unless you want to pay significantly more money, you won't see a huge difference.

How good a vid card will do kind of depends on your monitor resolution. If the monitor is under 20" and you're not too picky about frame rates I'd say the 7600gt you picked out would be good.

Reguarding the harddrive, the perpendicular recording technology only allows more dense storage on media (ie: higher capacity drives). The 16mb cache is the important thing I mentioned because it would be slightly faster than that 8mb you picked.
