Question First Build, Need Advice PLease

Well as you can see by the title I'm a novice in computers but I'm learning. Well these are some parts that I've selected and I need your opinion on them. I'm using this computer to game and do work, inaddition I dont know what Case or PSU to get, recommendations. My budget is a 1000

AMD 64 3200+ venice core <--- whats the difference between the cores

MSI K8N Neo4 Platinum <-----should I get an SLI instead

Nvidia GT 6600 <----whats the difference between the 256mb and 128mb

Hitachi 160 GB Hard Drive

CORSAIR XMS 1GB (2 x 512MB) TWINX1024-3200C2PT

Pioneer DVR-610 DVD Burner




As you can see, I am really newb with computers so I really need your help and advice please.

Since u dont know much, i would suggest you let the people on these forums configure a system for you. Trust me, they will configure the best system for the money you have.
