First build...help

Alright i have all of my components of hardware picked out (hard drive, mobo, vid card, ram, case, psu, soundcard...all that stuff)....anyways, what else do i need before i start building it...do i need fans, heatsinks, paste, or does all that stuff come in the boxes already??

if you bought your processor in the box ( not OEM) it comes with a heat pad so you dont need paste. you will need fans depending on if the case you get has one already.. also you might want to add some more fans to keep the system cooler. also.. with the heatsink, if you bought the processor in the box, the heatsink comes with it.. if you got it OEM.. youll need a heatsink and fan

better thermal paste if you are going to OC and thats about it, maybe you could buy a couple of case fans if it dosent already come with your case

what does oem stand for?

OEM is just when you get the product itself, no drivers cd, no cables, nothing included just the thing you ordered lol
