Default finishing upgrading my machine...

i recently just spent about 500 dollar upgrading part of my machine i bought
HD 4850
x-fi extremegamer
and an antec 650w modular PS
new gaming mouse and headset

the next part is everything else basically i am looking for a new MOBO, RAM, Hard Drive, and CPU, and case(since i plan on turning my old parts into a server of sorts)
i plan on having about 6 gigs of ram since i plan on running a copy of 64 bit vista so here is what i have so far let me know what you guys think
CASE: - XION Onyx XON-301 Black Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case with Stylish LED Power switch and unique 140mm Green LED Fan - Computer Cases
Hard Drive: - Seagate Barracuda 7200.11 ST3750330AS 750GB 7200 RPM 32MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s Hard Drive - Internal Hard Drives
RAM (Notice 2x 1g and 2x 2g for total of 6g): - Kingston HyperX 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 1066 (PC2 8500) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory - Desktop Memory
and - Kingston HyperX 2GB 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 1066 (PC2 8500) Desktop Memory - Desktop Memory
MOBO: - ASUS P5K PRO LGA 775 Intel P35 ATX Intel Motherboard - Intel Motherboards
CPU: - Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 Kentsfield 2.4GHz 2 x 4MB L2 Cache LGA 775 Quad-Core Processor - Processors - Desktops

i really would like to if possible bring this price down some without reducing performance or bring performance up without raising the price let me know what u think

Go with 4gb of ram it has been statistically proven that over 4gb will not be used and merely sits idle its not worth the extra expense.
The Q6600 is a bit old now I would go for a Q9300 with its 133mhzfsb and newer architecture.
Everything else looks good

P35 is fairly old now. Go with the P5Q.
