Default Find out your Frames Per Second?

In Maximum PC they always use Doom 3 to test how many frames per second a PC can generate. How can I find out how many my computer is generating?

in cs you can so cl_showfps 1 or net_graph 3 either one shows your fps

doom 3 = com_showfps 1


anyways does anyone know the command to get rid of the 60FPS cap in doom 3?

I tried this command and it fails to work= Com_Fixedtic -1
