hes getting the 6800 not the GT why would you want to touch ATI lol

no as bedub said get the new GS $209 and about the same performance as a 6800GT it is short like 2 points in benchmarks.

Because in certain price ranges, Ati beats Nvidia on their Price/Performance ratio.

Bottom line is 6800 > 6600 GT

Dont get a radeon X800 XL because it lacks shader model 3.0. Best cards on the market are the 7800 GTX and the X1800 XT. If u wanna spend the $, go for it. However, the 6800 is better than the 6600 GT because of its pipelines

Uuuhhh someone is trying to said that is going to buy a 6800GT very soon as well..

6600GT its fine if you can't spend much $ the 6800GT is more than fine... if you have the money and want to spend it and obviusly the 7800GTX is for the people that make money or i should said that work very hard to spend money like that, just kidding or trying to..

the vanilla 6800 and 6800GS fill the price gaps between the 6600GT and 6800GT very very well.
