Hey. So I noticed the 6800XT is the same price as the 6600GT. Are they equivilent?

Also, eVGA is the cheapest I've found followed by xFX, Gigabyte, and BFG. BFG looks most appealing, but I don't know if their cards are worth $100 more.

Last, is 256MB much better than 128MB. There is a 256MB diabloTech card, but it is $100 more than the eVGA or the same price as the BFG 128MB card.

Thanks

I think its a 6800 with 16pipelines but with out the gddr3 memory. (so good.)

And for your question, 128mb's is fine. Games like BF2 need to extra memory for textures though.

it only has 12 pipelines seems like a 6800 to me,

DDR=DDR
12=12
325/700=325/700

Lol its the same :confused:

My bad then. I remember there being a 6800gt with DDR memory. I thought that was it.

What's the same? The 6600GT is the same as the 6800XT or the 6800XT is the same as the 6800GT?

I know the 6600GT has DDR3, but it appears the 6800XT doesn't. Does that matter?

the 6600GT only has 8pipelines but GDDR3 memory but the 6800 has 12 pipelines but only DDR memory

the 6800GT has GDDR3 memory and 256MB and 16pipelines :O
