Heya, im getting ready to put the order through for my Girlfriends new PC....hows all this look...
Mobo: MSI K8N Neo4-F socket 939 here
CPU: AMD Ath. 64 3700+ San Diego here
GPU: eVGA GeForce 7800GT 256mb here
HDD: Seagate Cuda 7200.7 SATA 120gb here
PSU: Aspire 500w here
RAM: Patriot Sig Series 1gig (2x512) here

I know the PSU probably isnt that well reccomended but i did some research and i think it will be fine. We plan on OC'ing the system somewhat and are wanting to run all the current games on max settings. Thanks a ton.

have almost the identical setup except 2 gigs xms ram and a chaintech mobo plays everything i can find without even ocing :)

There is nothing wrong with patriot, but you could find some RAM with better timings. It will cost a little bit more but allows you better overclocks.

i have heard from several people that the patriot line of ram is pretty good.

I'm not saying it's bad at all, in fact its really good. I'm simply saying that if you want to get farther in your overclocking, you should invest in better ram. You really don't need to though, in fact, just stick with the patriot.
