I disagree. Go with the quad, you wont regrat it. Gaming will soon start to support it and they are at a good price now. If you can afford the quad, get it!

when quads are fully supported in games the Q6600 will be so outdated it wont be of any use.

Huh? You're crazy. Quad-Cores will be supported by most games soon enough. But I kind of get what you are saying. Dual Cores would be great right now since it's probably the mainstream. Quad-Cores are still being worked on, and if you spend it on the Q6600, later on, you know you will have to upgrade to a better Quad-Core.

And I'm ordering from NCIX, I'm wanting to get this when school starts, which it starts Monday =(, So i can do my homework on the computer at home, instead of having to do the work at school during my lunch break. I'm going to be taking a video making/production class, so would my system be sufficient to handle the video editing?

well, the gaming Keyboard is only $37.99 and it has some cool features.

Heres a pic.

Edit:
Do you guys like the case?

Here's a better pic of the keyboard.

If you're learning how to Video-Edit, you're going to have to put money into another set of RAM.
