Now don't go scaring the poor guy telling him he needs to spend $400 on his hard drives alone! having 2x 10k rpm hard drives in raid 0 is a luxury, not a necessity. However getting a SATA hard drive is a necessity. I recommend this one:
If you can afford the $400 10k raid setup, go for it.

yeah I agree with you and I am going to get a 74gb raptor but no raid
