Final decisions on my custom build PC

HELP WITH final decisions on my custom build PC

okay.. so these are the final decisions on my new computer but please have some suggestions and somethings that i might need to change..?


Case: Antec 1200 or the Thermaltake Spedo Advance Package

Graphics: Gigabyte 1GB GTX280, .. should i change this to one of the ATI cards that are around the same price..?

Ram: 3GB or 4GB..?? Kingston DDR3 or DDR2

Hard Drive: Seagate 320GB 16MB SATA

CPU: Intel i7 920 2.66Ghz

Motherboard: One of the Intel x58,... can this support SLI for the GTX 280..?

Power Supply: ??? still not sure about how much power i'll need, so this will be when everything else is decided..


Which ones should i get..? which ones shouldn't i get..?

oh yeah.. don't worry about my budget but if you're making changes please make them around the same price

If you're doing an i7 build, stick with 3gb or 6gb, since you want to buy your RAM in triple channel kits. Here's a great 6gb set on sale.

As for a mobo, grab this one, it'll support up to 3-way SLI.:

what if i just want 2 gtx 280's to sli will that still work.. or does it have to be 3..?

oh and also with that cpu and mobo will that give me the most overclocking potential..?

EVGA is one of the best boards for OC'ing, the 920 is awesome no matter what.

That mobo can do either 2 or 3-way SLI.
