k the 7900GTX can play oblivion on high settings, just not with AA and stuff.

who plays on 1920 resolution?

My mate plays 1600x1200 but lets stay on track.

Stick with getting the ASUS mobo, its great i have the crossfire version. and i hav only heard good things about the ram so will be worth it.

About that G.Skill ram John3 recommended w/ DDR500, Will the higher latencies affect speed at all?

well the fact that you can overclock it higher makes up for the latencies, the clock speeds are higher on both the ram and the Cpu, because it will allow you to overclock it higher.
