to answer ur question bout the quads no, they are not that miuch difference right now as nerally no games/apps take advantage of 4 cores except video editing etc... but in the near future there we be a big advantage i would imagine.

I went ahead and switch my old mobo which is this one

MSI P965 Neo-F Intel Socket 775 ATX Motherboard Audio PCI Express Gigabit LAN USB 2.0 Serial ATA in Canada at TigerDirect.ca

for this one for an extra like 60 bucks

MSI P6N SLI-FI NVIDIA Socket 775 ATX Motherboard Audio PCI Express SLI Ready Gigabit LAN SPDIF USB 2.0 & Firewire Serial ATA RAID P6N-SLI-F in Canada at TigerDirect.ca

NCIX.com - Buy MSI P6N SLI-FI Nforce 650I LGA775 Conroe DDR2 ATX 2PCI-E16 PCI-E1 3PCI SATA2 1394 Motherboard - MS-7350-010 In Canada.

Much cheaper at, NCIX.com...and yes...it's compatible with all your parts.
