Because all they do is just take a regular card and factory overclock it to those speeds, while you can do the EXACT same thing yourself except get a lot higher than even what the superclocked come at. The chips on the regular and superclocked are exactly the same and both have the same potential to be overclocked.

They don't have the DS3 on tigerdirect.ca, but they have it, at ncix.com, which ships to Canada too:
NCIX.com - Buy Gigabyte GA-965P-DS3 ATX LGA775 Conroe P965 DDR2 PCI-E16 3PCI-E1 3PCI SATA2 GBLAN Audio Motherboard - GA-965P-DS3 In Canada.

They also have that G.SKILL ram I was talking about but for some reason it's like $200 more than it is here. G.SKILL must not like canada or something.

the video card is alot cheaper on newegg

Newegg.com - EVGA 640-P2-N821-AR GeForce 8800GTS 640MB 320-bit GDDR3 PCI Express x16 HDCP Video Card - Retail

you can also downgrade ure case to the same one w/o a power supply since youre already buying one
