i say get a less expensive case and a less expensive ( less wattage ) power supply, and use the money saved towards a better graphics card

compatibility wise, yes.

but you dont need a full size tower.

i strongly suggest you save money on the case and put it towrads the graphics card.

this case is awesome, has wire manament holes, can hold 5 fans, black interior, its an awesome case, and only cost $50, use the $100 you save and get a better graphics card

Newegg.com - NZXT M59 - 001BK Black Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

and a 600 wat powserupply will be good

A 600W should be plenty for that build. If you were looking at the 5770, the best upgrade path is the 58xx series. There are 3 models to choose from, the 5830, the 5850, and the 5870. The 5870 is the best single-GPU ATi card out there with the other models offering similar features with lower speeds and reduced shader processors. I would say a 5830 or 5850 would be plenty if you only plan on single-monitor gaming. If you're going to use Eyefinity and run 3 monitors for games, the 5850 at absolute minimum, the 5870 is highly recommended here and even then performance could be better in high end games like Crysis with a second GPU.

If you have a monitor less than 1920x1200 the 5830 will probably be fine even for games like Crysis. For a single 1920x1200 or greater I'd probably go with the 5850 and for multi-monitor or future-proof builds I'd go with the 5870.

the 5850 is the sweet spot between price and performance!

thank you for listening to my advice, seems like no one ever does, and i promise you wont regret it. that is an awesome case and has all the features of a high end case. it truly is an awesome case and has great air flow, i think it is the single BEST BANG FOR YOUR BUCK case on the market. its a great case and has a lot of room for growth.

and whats more, you can afford a better graphics card now!
