CPU and motherboard don't go together.

CPU is for an AM3+ motherboard and the motherboard is for Intel 1155 CPUs.

I would drop the FX CPU and toss an i5 3570k in there. Better performance.

You'll need a better PSU.

Combo sets from Newegg. I would start from there, that way the socket confusion problem solves itself. Intel's are definitely more pricey, but from what I have heard from reviews, PP Mguire's recommendation to drop the FX series AMD is spot on. Also, this link will come in handy:
Thermaltake Power Supply Calculator
After you have picked out all your components, you can figure out what size power supply you will be needing. Leave yourself a little wiggle room, add on maybe 15% to what you will need for a safety net.

Best of luck with your endeavor, keep us updated with your progress. - Rube

Power supply calculators suck terribly. A 650w PSU is perfectly fine for anybody who isn't doing multi-GPU setups.

620w Seasonic
650w Antec
TX 650w Corsair.

From what I can see, all of those combos come with too much for a motherboard.

ASRock Extreme 3 Z77 will be fine. Typically around 100 bucks.
