Default fan question

so the cpu fan spot on the mobo has 4 pins but the fan i got has 3 holes which would skip the cpu fan pwm spot--- so is that ok?

does that just mean that the fan will run constantly?
and the cpu cant control it?

or do i need to get another fan?
