ps. I commented on the blog stating how no matter how well the drive is protected externally it could always be a dud hdd so they should use a flash drive instead.

agreed, if ur going to worry about safe keeping that much why wouldnt they just put a ssd in there, heck the thing prolly isnt shock proof at all, they didnt have any shock tests. drop it and all you have now is a expensive enclosure that clicks.

For one wouldn't you be asking for your place to burn down putting your hdd in something like that? lol not to mention SSD is the way to go for protection, just seems kinda useless money to me
