Are there any benchmark software to test external hard drives?

haha

external hard drive proberly how fast your USB speed, serial or w/e your hard drive is connect through to your comp. You wanna compare how seagate externals are faster than western digital exterals or something 0_0?

I just want to know which hard drive is better for the computer I'm building. I have a WD and a Seagate. I guess I'll just plug them internally into the computer and do some tests on it there.
