Default External hdd

Well, i have about 14 gigs left out of 240..Time for more space.

I've never looked into ext's before so if anyone can suggest a good one around $80 (max i would go is 100) w/o shipping, i'd appreciate it...

first look at newegg turned up this:
Newegg.com - Cavalry "Pre-Formatted" CAUE37400 400GB 7200 RPM 8MB Cache USB 2.0 External Hard Drive - Retail

first make sure, your all out of 3.5'' drive bays for internal HDD's as their cheaper
i would recommend this one for externals
Newegg.com - Seagate FreeAgent Desktop ST303204FDA1E1-RK 320GB 7200 RPM USB 2.0 External Hard Drive - Retail

You don't get the portability like with an external though.

for LAN, its more portable internal
if you want portable, get the WD passport or the Seagate Free Agent Pro

i want an external
not an internal

if i wanted an internal i would've asked for either or...

so.. i think i might just save up a bit more to get that 400.. best deal i've seen so far.

I have the wd passport 60GB and i love it. I know it probably doesn't give you much room but it is a great drive and I know wd has bigger options. I would also recommend a seagate freeagent.

Staples Circular Savings

In store only at Staples $95 - $45MIR = $50 for a 400gb external Western Digital. I'm gonna go pick up one when I get the chance, might even get 2 if I'm lucky enough to not be limited 1 per rebate but most likely its 1 per household or name.
