Experiment Alpha: 8-way xfire

four seperate 3870x2's working simultaneously on my DFI LP UT 790FX-M2R AM2+/AM2 AMD 790FX ATX AMD Motherboard with 8gigs ddr3 and a phenom 9850 with an ABS LABS 1000 watt modular PSU...about to boot it up for the first time, let us see what happens.

sorry i meant ddr2

lol, that amount of ddr3 ram wouldve cost me almost as much as the whole system.

oh, and two SSDs in raid 0 working as the OS drive...with a couples raptorXs totaling 300gbs for storage (i know not much but its a specialty rig)

and so goes my entire life savings.

literally...(not joking)

Quad = 2 3870x2's or 4 3870's
8-way = 4 3870x2's or 8 3870's
