And even if i did you can't fit 4 dual slot cards in a case with 7 rear slots...

MSI announced a 4 PCI-E mobo in 07, but I never saw it. OH. And their wasn't any driver support.

The K9A2 Platinum has 4 x dual slot PCI-E 16X slots
I use one in my system (with 2 x single GPU 3870's)

But, it's not possible to have 4 x 3870 X2's all in crossfire.
Firstly, there's no drivers to support it.
Secondly, the 3870 X2's only have one crossfire bridge connector
to get more than 2 cards in crossfire, you need cards with two crossfire bridge connectors. And so far, only single GPU RV670 cards have that.

I know it's possible to have 3 x 3870's, or 2 x 3870 X2's in crossfire. I'm not sure if 4 x 3870's can run in crossfire, but 4 x 3870 X2's definitely can't.

And even if i did you can't fit 4 dual slot cards in a case with 7 rear slots...

It is possible to do that with some cases, but not often.
It would mean one half of the last bracket would overlap.

Or, it is possible to cut the bracket in half, and turn it into a single slot bracket.

But anyway, what StoolKitten is allegedly doing is not possible.
