i am upgrading my video card to a 7900 gs, but my concern is that i dont know if my system will be able to handle.
i have a pentium 4 with HT, 3Ghz
4x512mb corsair memory
80 gb hard drive
i think my powersupply is 400w but it says max output of 480 w, so i dont know what that means

so i was just wandering if this is good card or not, and also if my system would be able to handle it. and by the way, my system is a dell dimension E510

so any comments would be appreciated. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16814130056

i dont have much money, and want something up to $200 dollars, any other recomendations?
thanks

Will handle it perfectly, seems like you have an adequate PSU. And the 7900GS is a great card - will see you through until the new DX10 cards are out.

Go for it :)

its not just the watts, you also need to know the amps of the psu, and to check that, you'll have to open up your case and check the side of your psu
