eVGA 6800GS Core Clock Speed

Well, it was a while ago when I bought this 6800GS. I purchased it on Newegg and it was said to have a 425mhz core clock. However, I was looking through RivaTuner a few minutes ago and noticed that it is being read as 350mhz! So instead of the advertised 425/1000, it is 350/1000. What's going on? Was this an advertising fault, or did I get ripped off? Maybe RivaTuner is reading incorrectly? Help please. Thanks!

What you are looking at is the 2d core speed. There should be a pull down menu somewhere where you select low-3d and performance 3d.
