new to these forums im trying to find a place to enlighten myself with the knowledge of others and are helpful in fixxing any issues i may stumble across.
recently i reformated my pc
amd athalon 64 3400
asus k8n mobo
ati x800xt card
windows xp pro sp2
1 gig of crucial ram ddr 400 3200 184 pin

anyway when i formate after installing all these goodies apperently windows also formated my backup drive deleting all my photos and mp3. is there anyway to get all these files back?

Not without the help of a powerful and expensive 3rd party software.

so basicly im sol? please tell me its just windows not reading the hdd correctly because of me reformating. i have done this before(reformating and it didnt touch the F: only the C: why would it do both this time?

ok download a program called Stellar Phoenix FAT & NTFS

it will recover lost data

there are ways to get it back but i think the programs are take a pretty penny or two from you

bringing in what i do right now it doesnt matter i want those pics back i could care less about the mp3s being as the ones i like the most are on my ipod.

static where in missouri are you from. i Grew up in Maplewood....
