Default Echoing sound?

hey guys
i have noticed today that the sound on my computer has started to echo. i dont know why its just echoing games, music, anything it all echos
please help

you may have reverb effects on somewhere...

what soundcard do you have?

intergrated sound
the sound problem started when i installed blue shift i think

there should be some sort of multimedia setting in control panel or something, or maybe the onboard sound has its own little control thing some where. look to see if any reverb or environmental settings are on.

Yeah. I have AVertech on my comp. My daughter left the echo on, but I didn't know. I fought with it for a couple of days, and deleted a lot of music thinking it was corrupted.

When I finally figured it out I was not a happy camper...

just look around you multimedia and sound settings. it should be there somewhere.

i think even the windows volume control has some basic reverb effects.
