iim upgrading in about 2 months, my system is so outdated but i havn't had the money, then i won't be upgrading for about 1.5 years. well i might get a new quad core thats about it.

I say forget the e8400

who cares if it overclocks better, Quad-Core is the way of the future, and since you can get a q6600 for $200 from Microcenter, I say forget the e8400 ever existed

I couldn't agree w/ you anymore. I've said it once and I'll say it again. I would take two extra cores over 1000mhz anyday. When OC'ed

also to show you how much the q6600 has in bang for the buck, you should also consider the Cost per Core, and I think the q6600 would win by a decent rate
