There is no reason why you shouldn't go quad when you have the option for nearly the same price.

If you want a duo so badly, I wouldn't recommend the e6850. It's overpriced when you could get an e6750 and overclock it to 3.5+Ghz. If you don't like to overclock, the e6850 is nice as it comes as 3.0ghz.

No it's not bad at overclocking at all. Which Core 2 Duo, is bad at overclocking?...none of them. He's just saying, it's not worth the price tag.
