Is this worth the $160 I just popped for it(used, 6 monts old)? I currently am Running an E6300 in one machine and an AM2 6000+ in annother. BTW...the 6000+ kicks the Intel in the rear when it comes to multi-tasking. I was, frankly, pleasantly surprised!

SL9S8 Intel Core2 Duo Desktop Processor E6600 - SL9S8 <<<<<<<<<<<<<

Thanks!

you got an e6600 used for 6 mos..........i wouldnt ever get a cpu used, IMO....but, if it works, i guess.....you coulda gotten a brand new e6750 for $30 more though.

Not bad for the price, since most of them are selling for $200+.

...and it's 1066, not 1033.

But what you should of done, is get a future ready motherboard, because that e6300 is good enough to hold you over, until the new 45nm processors.

It's still warrentieed and I'm fine wiht used CPU's that are guarenteed. I have a Gigabyte G965 1033 fsb mobo so the 6750 wouldn't be much of a help.
