ehhh e2180 is on par with athlon x2 5000's... i'd say thats a huge upgrade compared to a pentium d.. THOSE ARE COMPLETE GARBAGE....

im pretty sure theres a bios update for your mobo that came out not too long ago which adds support for all the new 45nm cpu's including the e2*** and e1*** series.

i've looked on the ecs website and looked at the bios updates and saw nothing about 45nm cpu's. so sadly i'll have to get a new mobo for 45nm's
