Water is the only big noticeable difference.

unless you're all visual impaired, the sky is also brighter

to the untrained eye they look the same but to us gamers out there we know the diff.

All the little crap adds up. I love it. ill take dx 10 and a 5-10fps drop over dx9 anyday.

as far as dx10 in moving game play Smoke tends to handle Way more realistically. and many people say whatever no biggie but I love that 'godray' thing as well. it rocks in WiC as well.

You almost dont need AA in crysis, if you have shaders on high - it gives a sort of AA effect.

Ya, I see better sunlight effects, more detailed trees, much more shaders, and the water has way better depth and reflections.

hrmmm my high quality looks better than the high quality in this photo w/ xp... that ultra high quality trick really works.. though i won't say it matches exactly w/ dx10 photo.. but it is pretty close

and agreed w/ many others.. to gamers.. or people who buy high end parts.. it is beyond easy to tell the difference
