I've got an old VGA screen and want to buy a 9800GTX+ and I'm not sure which of 2 to buy.

One of them only has DVI slots on it and the other one has a DVI and a VGA slot. The one that has only DVI slots however provides a DVI to VGA/D-sub Adapter but I'm wondering whether or not this would create additional lag (few ms?) because in FPS games this isn't something I want.

Anyone has a clue on this?

Thanks in advance.

As the others said there wont be any lag. The quality will be slighly less than using digital, but that is irrelevant since your using an old screen. Actually that kinda makes my post pretty irrelevant...

i wouldn't say irrelevant. Redundant yes, but the more people who post in agreement the more confident the OP will feel in what is being said.
