could some one tell me the differenced between dvd+r, dvd-r, dvd+r(dl), dvd-rw, dvd-ram. or give me a link that would be very helpfull.

also can you make copies of your dvds like disk to disk?

dvd+r, dvd-r= just two different kinds of formats
The dvd-rw's can be written ovewr more that one time(rw=re-writable
the DVD-r(dl) is a dual layer format for bigger files or movies

and yes you can copy from disk to disk

edit- dvd rom just meens it can read dvd's
