Yea i'd go with the 9800gtx too, it's what i'm getting. ATI seems to be lacking for now, so i'd take them all out lol

Which minimum card(s) can play all the games in high settings except crysis?

Which single card?
which cards in SLI?
which cards in crossfire?

meh... screw the q6600 when the q6700 is now 300 dollars...

the q6600 is nice sure... but you'll find some mobo's being fsb limited... ESPECIALLY if you consider going SLi.. you WILL run into fsb problems

the 10x multi will easily reach 4.0ghz compared to the added juice you would need on your mobo for ur cpu to hit it w/ the 9x multi

Well, you can always get Q6600 for about 200 or less at frys.
I think they still sell it for this price.

I got mine for about $180

I just got the evga 8800gts and it plays everything very high settings (high for crysis w/ 4xAA) extremely well on my 24" monitor. I originally was expecting to get a second for SLI but don't see the need for it at this time. Never seen the other cards in action so I can't comment on those...

Personally, i would get 9800GTX because I don't like dual-GPU video cards
