One stick of RAM may be bad. Wait till you BSOD, tell me the codes, then I'll tell you what to try. If that doesn't work, THEN take NewEgg up on that very generous offer.

I think I'm going to take them up on it, as they offered free shipping on all the new items, and I'll feel refreshed and new, and I can order all new parts.

Ok. Well by new parts are you sticking with the P5E or going back to the 750i? I'd stick with all the parts you have right now, just be extra careful when setting it up again. If you problems still persist with the new stuff, let me know.
