Default Dual monitors...

I just recently bought a 28 inch LCD monitor.. but i also have a 32 inch LCD HDTV that i use for my Cable TV at the moment.. i didnt want to spend another 400 bucks on another 28 inch monitor... will there be much difference between the 28inch LCD 1080P 3ms Monitor i have now and the 32inch LCD HDTV 720p... the 32inch HDTV i won't be using for games...
