If you guys were building a new computer, would you buy a cheap p4 to hold you over and then wait for the conroe and try to sell the p4? Or would you get the best out right now (amd)?

you can go intel single core with the Cedar mill core (65nm oc's like a *****) and a 975X mobo and then upgrade to conroe when it comes out.

a P4 with a Cedar Mill core is only $177

and you can oc them to around 4.5ghz on air.
