dual 7800gt's or ati x1800xt

i agree with sli being good in some areas.. with people like me... getting 2 6800 gs's in sli does perform well along with the 7800gtx 256 mb.. and even beat it in some game tests.. and its only roughly 400 dollars for both, about 50 bucks less than the gtx... that could certainly tickle my fancy.. haha

i think that 7800gt in sli beats x1900xt , becuase 1900xt is approximtley equals 7800gtx 512 http://www.anandtech.com/video/showdoc.aspx?i=2679&p=8

so i would go with 7800gt in Sli

wow, then ati has made a horrible jump to this card... i wouldnt even call this an x1900xt... or whatever, its still seems like an x1800 to me.... with some added features.... cant wait to see what kind of damage the 7900gtx will dish out

ATI had better make something good from their next card.
the X1900 barely outperforms the 512MB 7800 GTX, and Nvidia already has G71 and G80 to release.

right now the best choice is the ATI Radeon X1900XTX 512MB.

YES YES ppl will say but 2 7800GTs in SLI outperform the ati.
but in reality most ppl cant afford to SLI 7800GTs.

Actually... that new ATI card does out-perform 2x 7800GT's SLI'd.
It actually gives 7800GTX SLI'ds a run for their money too! Yikes!
