Question downloadable temperature guage?

ive seen multiple screen shots w/ some sort of pop up thingy that tells u ur temperatures of ur cpu, gpu etc.... what is this? what is it called? i need it!

I dont know what you've seen, but Speedfan is a good program that tells temperatures.

I downloaded Speedfan but found it to be useless, especially for what you want.

speedfan is useless if what you want is accurate temps.

you could download EVEREST and that will tell you temps and voltage and a bagillion other things + benchmarks. most they time the readings are more accurate than speedfan's.

I second the Everst Home Edition recommendation. It's by far my favorite montoring program and give you a ton of information, to boot.
