I hope he meant 64-Bit otherwise he shouldn't be authorized to use a computer.

That might have been true like 3 years ago. XP x64 has drivers for most hardware now.

i just said screw it and reformated with vista again. Installed the new drivers again and games run flawless... I like the system backup utility with vista... Got a snapshot

i am running 32 bit ulimate. my dad runs 64 bit ultimate. and both are stable (except for my dads ram problem). i have had xp go to heck in a ham basket when i put nforce chipset drivers i downloaded from nvidia website instead of mobo manufacturer. that really fubared my xp install and that's also when i put vista on. have never went back.

The only thing ATi can render faster than nVidia is the BSOD

i used xp and vista on my laptop, vista is awesome, i love the networking ease that vista has. also use vista/server08 on my desktop so thats cool
