Default Does Windows XP support my Widescreen monitor?

Will XP support my 22" Sceptre monitor? Or will it be a stretched screen?

It's just a resolution so that's dependant on your video card, not xp. I believe as long as you've got SP2 and newer drivers for you video card you'll be fine. The games you play can be a different story, however, as not all of them support widescreen.

Ya, know kidding. The games that don't support get a little irritating after a while.

King$nake, do some research on your subject before you post a topic....

High resolutions have been out for ages. Besides which, they wouldn't release 22" monitors if 90% (or whatever number of XP users) couldn't support the resolution.

Most modern games support widescreen, but not always in your preferred (native) resolution. There are patches about that you can download for many games, though, otherwise you can make it run with two black side bars.
