I have a major problem with DoD: Source, fps wise. On maps particulary like dod_anzio, my fps drops to the 30's...My system:
amd 3700 san diego
1gig corsair value select
7800GT
200gig maxtor
480 antec neopower
msi neo4 f
I put everything on 1024 768 res, low detail, no HDR, no v-sync,fps_max 200, etc...I'm still getting 30-100 fps on anzio. I've done everything I possibly could...still no sucess. I spent 1000+ for this system and I'm not getting my money's worth...This is driving me crazy and I would appreciate it if anyone could give me ideas on fixing this.
