Mm, okay. I guess I'm going to have to buy a new ps. Are they difficult to install yourself? I really don't want to drop it off at the store and have to wait a week to get it. I like to think I know my way around a computer, I put in the CPU my self, and put in a new motherboard. The PSU looks a little more tricky.

Yeah? Well I'm just worried i'll bollocks it up. When I tried to install my own motherboard it took me a while, cuz there were all these really small 2 pin connectors to put on the motherboard, it took me forever to figure out where to put all of them :S

there can be a lot of PSU connectors but they are big and chunky. It's not too hard.

Psus asre easy......... As you take off a cable, you put it on the new one.

Just remember, the new vid card needs the 6 pin too now.

a 4870 has TWO 6 pin PCI-E power plugs. The psu I suggested comes with both connectors.
