I'm thinking of buying a pc soon, these are the specs:

AMD a8 6600k 4.2ghz quad core

On board radeon HD8570d (Don't hate me! The performance is quite good!)

16GB DDR3 1600mhz RAM (2x8gb)

1TB Seagate barracuda SATA

The motherboard is this (copied and pasted) MSI A78M-E35 uATX Motherboard

I'm going to do school-work, multi tasking, and light to medium load gaming on it. Mostly TF2 to be honest.

The question is, do I need an after-market CPU fan to cool the a8 6600k? I'm sceptical about the heat issue, cause of the stuff I've heard about AMD.

(P.S. The OS is Windows 7 Professional, the website does not say whether its 64 bit or 32)

EDIT: this is the link to the website where I found this, I configured it to my liking

16GB of RAM is kind of a waste on this rig. Would be better off getting the tiny performance boost from the A10.

To answer your question, no you don't need one.
