Directx10?

I have just received my 8600GT, it seems my games have been running weird, Its hard to AA in CSS and COD2. Havent tried this with any other games yet but i was wondering, is it cause a DX10 card is playing DX9 games?

I don't think you would notice much slow down from a DX10 playing DX9 games.

What was your old card, before the 8600GT?

In terms of raw performance, the 8600GT is only slightly better than the 7600GT. I would think that it would play about the same.

Did you update the Nvidia drivers? If you are using old ones they may not work well with the 8600.

yeah new drivers can make a big diff.
