Default DirectX Hardware level issues

I have dual 9800 Gx2's, the problem occurred while I was playing team fortress two, I noticed that under the graphic options some of the options were either turned off or not there because it said my directX hardware level was 8.1

I am more then 100% sure that the 9800 Gx2 supports directX 10 so I don't know why it says my directX hardware level is 8.1, I checked my video driver and according to nVidia they are up to date.

Any help would be appreciated.

What OS are you using?

Also, in game i think there is a option to select what DX level you use. Check that.

The only thing ATi can render faster than nVidia is the BSOD

Windows 7, I'm looking at it now and I checked the launch options and i set it to -dxlevel 90

Does Team Fortress 2 and Counterstrike support DX10? I just want to make sure my cards can do DX10
